A calm veteran of the underground Swansea scene in the early 1990's, James has struggled through fire and water to produce his stunning and unique music, which often resembles both. His songs are about peace and love, and his improvisations carry you away on a light breeze of thoughtfulness. Check him out at various venues in the West Country. |

Although never a practicing Muslim, Bryn Jones from Manchester produced some of the most fascinating musical soundscapes you will find anywhere, using recordings from the Middle East and elsewhere. His music is totally unique, and although sadly Bryn died a couple of years ago, his music lives on. |

Another experimental soundscape project, Bass Communion is the ambient work of Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree. It is both mesmerising and cutting-edge, and embodies the pure moods of its creator. |

Full-on electric folk rockers - one of the best bands around today. Oysterband have worked with luminaries such as Eliza Carthy and June Tabor amongst many others, and have the distinction of living their music - Oysterband is a political animal more akin to punk rock than to traditional folk.
